Project Overview
This residence represents a thoughtful balance between contemporary design, spatial efficiency, and functional versatility. The main house encompasses approximately 3,017 square feet, organized around four bedrooms and four bathrooms, including a flexible room that can serve as a home office or guest suite. An additional 800-square-foot Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) extends the property’s livability, offering two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a fully independent kitchen — ideal for multigenerational living or private guest quarters.
Design Concept
The architectural approach emphasizes openness, natural light, and seamless indoor–outdoor transitions. A 12-foot folding glass wall anchors the main living area, connecting the family room to the rear patio and garden. Skylights, expansive windows, and carefully placed openings allow daylight to animate the interiors throughout the day, while maintaining privacy and energy efficiency.
Interior Architecture & Detailing
The interior palette combines warmth and precision: hardwood and porcelain tile flooring, quartz slab surfaces, and frameless glass shower enclosures convey a refined modern aesthetic. The kitchen was conceived as a central gathering space — equipped with a built-in refrigerator and freezer, double oven configuration (including a speed oven), cooktop, integrated hood, beverage refrigerator, and an island with prep sink. The ADU kitchen mirrors this sense of completeness, designed with proportional functionality and material continuity.
Technology & Comfort
Integrated smart systems and environmental comfort were key design drivers. The home features distributed audio with surround sound in the family room, in-ceiling speakers in the primary suite and living areas, CAT6 data wiring, central vacuum, and dual whole-house fans. Energy systems include solar panels, new HVAC units, water softening, and automatic fire sprinklers — all contributing to a highly efficient, resilient residence.
